About Us
Who We Are
We are registered as Republicans and believe in the Republican principles. The Federation is an official part of the Republican party that is their educational arm.
The San Ramon Valley Republican Women Federated was charted by a small group of women of the Valley, spearheaded by Bethel Van Tassel of Alamo in April 1950. The formation meeting was held at the house of Charlotte Carlson Miller at the Corduroy Ranch in Danville, CA. This home is now a Historical Site, originally built in 1938 by Eugene O’Neill with the funds from his Nobel Prize Literature and is known as the Tao House.
Our Club is affiliated with the California Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women. We have been awarded the coveted Diamond Award for excellence by the National Federation of Republican Women, designating it as one of the nation’s finest organizations of Republican Women.
We continue to grow our Club by reaching out to all Republican women in the San Ramon Valley and building a strong presence in our community.
